• I bought this to enhance the sound of my ceiling speakers. I wanted something small that would fit under a table or love seat so my choices were limited. It's just OK. It cranks out a lot of high, boomy bass but doesn't sound very natural. I have it hooked up to the subwoofer output of a Yamaha CRX-330BL CD Receiver. Unfortunately, neither the receiver nor the sub have a crossover setting. I think that would make all the difference in the world. On certain songs that have low bass notes, the sub seems to reproduce those notes pretty well. The problem is it has a peak at around the 100-200Hz range that makes everything sound boomy.
  
  Another complaint is the sub does not seem to turn off when no audio is fed to it. There is a control cord that came with it but no where to plug it into the receiver. Every other sub I own turns on when a signal is applied and turns off after a few minutes if no signal is detected. This is a poor design.
  
  I plan to open the box to see if there is anything I can do to improve the sound. Perhaps some acoustic foam or fiberfill in the cabinet may reduce the boominess, if it doesn't already have some. If that doesn't work, I'll try some modifications to the circuit to see if I can lower the crossover frequency. I'll report back with my results.

Hooked this up with a powered sub and my AV receiver, about 25 feet apart. Both components are separated by cabinets and they paired up right away once they were hooked up to power. The quality seems sufficient, but the latency is noticeable to the point that I was about to return it, however I was able to compensate for the latency with the set up in the AV receiver. So if you have a quality system that can accommodate the wireless delay, then I would recommend this product. 

Reception with this kit is spotty at best. I had both units within 15 feet of each other. However the subwoofer signal would be interrupted several times during a movie. I can only figure that this kit is not working reliably. I tried moving around both components to improve the signal but I still have this problem. I tried contacting the manufacturer but apparently there is no customer service contact.

• purchased this subwoofer about 2 months ago and since then have given it an extensive listening test. Following is a list of things I would do to improve sound quality as well as some reservations I have toward it.
  
  Before I start off, I would like to clarify one thing about the PSW-10 that might unjustly turn off potential buyers from it: it runs at 50 watts RMS. In the world of music and sound systems, one of the biggest misconceptions out there is that wattage directly correlates with how loud a speaker is. THIS IS NOT NECCESARILY TRUE! The efficiency of the driver determines how loud it gets at a certain wattage, not only the amount of power you're pumping into it! This is why you can buy, for example, computer speakers that boast 400watts of power and have them easily massacred in terms of volume by speaker set ups with half the power (for further examples, compare computer speaker systems to shelf systems to a true sound system. You will find the volume, at a given wattage, tends to increase as you go down the spectrum).

• The transmitters work great and sound like a hard wire connection! i love them and they are always on. I've had them for about a year now and have had them on almost 24-7. There is no interference with internet connections or other wireless connections in my room that i can notice. There is one problem that i did have with them, it was not the sound or anything like that. The transmitters are a little fragile in the power port. I have a baby that likes to pull on any cable in sight. when she pulled on the power cable, it broke the connector and the receiver would not power up. I had to solder the power cable right on the board. it works now but just a word of warning, if you buy the transmitter's, you will love them but just remember that you have to plug them in and put them in a place where you can't accidentally pull on them or just avoid unplugging them once you have them in. other than that little problem they work wonders. I use them so i can keep my subwoofer on the other side of my room, and don't have to run a cable all the way across my room.
  this is my first review so sorry if its all over the place but i do love the transmitters and i recommend them.
